As a native Clevelander I can suggest that you seek alternative 
accommodation to the south, (towards Akron) for reasons of cost and also 
parking-lot security. A few people might like the friendly style of the 
Stanford House Youth Hostel in the Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation 
Area -- Single-sex bunk rooms, shared kitchen, etc.
