Once inside for a clutch I wouldn't think if not replaceing the release bearing. Too much labor for the parts cost involved. Also check for wear on the release lever, the bolt that retyains it and the retainer. I always use an alignment tool, even when I had to cobbel one together for an MGA years ago. Moss has an inexpensive one, 387-235 for the 5 main engine. |
