Your advice not to use synthetic oils seems too broad -- many synthetic oils are made for modern cars and therefore have low viscosity -- however, there are manufacturers out there that have products which will give a thicker film than conventional 20/50 oils -- such as Amsoil or Redline. I believe their 20/50 oils provide an excellent alternative to the oils originally recommended by the manufacturers. Simon |
