There are two pins and a nylon bushing that must be freed. Try spraying some "Mechanic in a Can" (Lube) on the lever area.Top & Bottom areas. Kroil, LPS or WD should help you out. Apply some upward dynamic force ( pull on it ), Also select the neutral gear selection.Good Luck Ray Easterby 72 BGT orig owner 88 Xj40 |
