GT rear seat

Dear list members!

This is difficult to explain but i'm gonna give it a try.

Can someone tell me how to fix the rear seat (the part on which one
sits, or at least that is how it was meant to be) of a 68 C GT? I bought
the fasteners and screws but i cannot find the appropriate holes for the
two front fasteners. The rear ones are already in place. Do i have to
look at the panel underneath the seat or the standing panel behind the
front seats?
