'67 Steering Wheel

Does anyone know what (diameter) size hub a '67 BGT requires for the
steering wheel?  I've been unable to locate an original 67 banjo type
steering wheel.  I bought one a while back that was suppose to fit but it
must be for a '68 or some other year because the hub was too small to fit
over the spline on the steering column. 

Any assistance would be appreciated.
