More years ago than I care to remember I put a roll bar in my Sp***ire (Hey I was young and dumb and could not afford a B at the time). If you have ever driven an early Sp***ire you know how vital a roll bar is. I took the car and tonneau to the local top shop and he charged me just a few dollars to slit the top put in a flap (not as fancy as a zipper but way cheaper) and couple of snap on each side. Worked great. Yes, he hemmed the entire hole. Rick Ewald |
