| Subject: | Engine Buffer Hitting Mount??? |

Here is one I can't figure out. Recently rebuilt engine in 72 Roadster.
Banging noise on braking. Checked entire front-end and all is well. The
left motor mount is leaning or stretched toward radiator and I believe the
noise is coming from the buffer ("L" shaped piece of metal on top of mount)
hitting the base of the mount. The motor mounts are new. Anybody else
experience this?
Thanks.
