'73 MGB - What Color to Paint the Block?

Hello All, 

Im getting ready to paint the block on my '73 MGB.  This
is my first project car - I've never painted a block before.
I want to paint the body Midnight Blue.  What is the stock
color for the MGB engine block?  What else would look nice?
