Your plan seems fine to me although I would apply WD40 first and them some grease. WD40 will remove some rust if that is the reason for your stiffy! Then add some grease to all the bar. I had to remove my rails because they were badly rusted. I sanded the rust to the best I could, added some Oxisolve to stop the reaction and then painted the non contact areas. Finally added some grease. Enrique |
