'70 MGB GT - Oil Leak(s)

Last night, my garage floor told me I have an oil leak.  I can see oil drops
on the bottom of the oil filter holder (which is spin-on and inverted) and
where the oil filter holder screws into the block.  Is this a common area
for leaks?  What should I do to determine the source of the leak?
