77 MG Midget 1500 - $2000 obo.
(located in Eastern PA, near Allentown)

Replaced last month: battery, fuel pump, ignition
wires, hoses, belts, filters, etc. The exhaust system
was recently replaced. Also has a rollover-bar, Weber
DGV w/K&N filter, and Pirannah electronic ignition.

Sills were replaced and it has very nice new red paint
(work was done at a body shop). Runs great; compression
is 145 +/- 5psi on all cyls. 64kmiles.

These new-in-box parts are included in the deal:
a black Robbins top, Coverlay dash cap, a cat-converter
‘test-pipe’ (heh, heh) and a bunch of other misc trim
bits. The spare tire, jack and full tonneau cover are
all still in the boot. (tonneau has some red overspray
on it).

I’ll also include the ‘spridget support kit’ to get
you going if you are new to spridgets: Bentley and
Haynes factory workshop manuals, Lindsay Porter’s
Guide to DIY Spridget restoration, a new owners manual
and an original MG sales brochure.

This would make a great father/son(daughter?)
driving-restoration or even a second (3rd, 4th?)
LBC as it does not need body work or paint, just
minor mechanicals.

So, what does it need? The hydraulics need some
attention - the clutch and brake MCs are out and
need to be rebuilt (or replaced). Also needs minor
cosmetics - the wheels could be re-painted and the
carpet has seen better days. The interior is autumn
leaf if that matters. Everything else works but the
horn.

If anyone is interested, come take a look at it and
lets talk; I am asking $2000.

Reach me at (610) 391-9336 Eastern time or e-mail.
