Thanks to those who suggested the crankcase breather might be clogged. Unfortunately it is not. That would be an easy fix! Incidentally we too have a Weber on the 1500 with the hesitation problem. It does idle quite nicely at 500 rpm though. Anyone going to GOF West in Montery. Our Midget will be there. It will be the one with the primer spot on the bonnet.
