Rick,

The heater core in my 61 coupe was definitely original black when I
rebuilt it about 8 years ago. Perhaps you got some Healy parts? I
noticed that many of the Healy (and even metropolitan ) parts are sort
of olive green. Definitely engine mounted parts that are the same part
are different colors in MGA and Healy. Maybe some of the other engine
compartment parts are the same but painted different. Don't know, but
just offer this as a suggestion. 

Any healy owners out there to confirm or deny?
