Got the 69 back today from my trusty mechanic who was 
repairing the mess i made of the timing in my attempt to 
get rid of the pinking i was getting.

the timing is now spot-on and with the new grose-jets so is
the mixture. The car is running as close to perfect as can be!!
AND it did cure the pinking

driving to work was a pleasure today and its the long way home!!
