Matt, how about new bearings for the rods and main.  They're cheap and good
insurance.

Same here.  New 1/4 camshaft, oversized pistons, new header, old distributor.
Any suggestions from the public out there?  I am contemplating either the
Mallory
or just a new Euro-Spec distributor.

BTW, for engine parts I was extremely happy with Brit-Tek.  They're long
sale is 
over now, but their customer service was excellent.
