$2700 for an MGA clutch????

Looked at a couple of MGAs this weekend -- one had many receipts --
including a recent clutch job: $2700 -- this did include $500 for a new
master cylinder, but even so, it seems a little excessive!

Comments?

Incidentally, in the lastest Moss Motors mag, there is a twin cam for sale
for $8500!
