clearances in a 1995 Geo Prizm Lsi(Chevy Corolla) with 1.8 liter 'yota
engine: main bearing clearance .0006-.0013
piston to bore " .0008-.0015
rod bearing " .0008-.0017
cam bearing " .0014-.0028
all measurements in inches
one of my old racin' buddies reminded me racing outboard motors are run
wide open throttle when they are fired up rebuilt or out of the
box........same with dragsters although they are rarely expected to run
more than a few minutes between rebuilds......outboards considerably
longer.................FYI......................................YMMV,
