Dear Richard,
I think your measurements are neither metric nor Imperial!

One quart= 32 fl oz.
1 Pint= 16 Fl. oz.
2 pints per quart, at least in California! :)
Even I, a simple Youper (born and raised in Michgans Upper Peninsula- like
Appalachia, only colder and some would say dumber)- know that!
Do the math- sounds like pints are the better deal!
FWIW, I use Castrol LMA because Silicone doesn't adsorb water- thus any
that gets into your system will sit at a low point in the system and eat a
hole in it. If you use Dot4 LMA, you can just change the fluid once in a
while and get the gunk out.
=%Owith. Since I had previously rebuilt all the hydraulic components

=%Oonly spent about $21.00 and 4 hours. The result is a much stiffer pedal,

=%Ohave the plastic reservoir, you'll be able to see your fluid level much
=%Omore easily, as the silicone fluid has a distinctive purplish cast to it.
