Gary, been there, done that. I bought the Dayton 72 spoke wheels from
British Wire Wheel. I have had them since Christmas (my wife bought them
for me, with my assistance!). To date no one as said anything about
noticing the stainless steel spokes. I will say the chrome spokes tend
toward a blue color and the stainless steel are more golden; but in fact
it is unlikely you would notice unless they are side by side. My
stainless are the regular polish not the show polish.

On my Jaguar I broke some spokes (older chrome Daytons) and the local
wheel shop interlaced the stainless spokes with the chrome spokes and
it's very hard to tell which is which. They did do the "show" polish on
the stainless.

I bought the 6' X 15" Daytons and mounted 195/60X15" Avon "V" rated tires
on them. Yes, everything clears. The circumference is *very* close to
the original 560X14 or 165X14 that were stock sizes.

The information British Wire Wheel gave me on sizes is this:

560X14          =       620mm OD
165X14          =       622mm OD
195/65X15       =       635mm OD
195/60X15       =       615mm OD

British Wire Wheel is a good company to do business with and has very
competitive prices.
