Hello Nory
   On my "B" i do use the spray copper filler on both sides of the head
gasket.  I also use aircraft style studs so thay wont stretch as much as
stock ones.  These studs can be used over again whare stock studs should not.
 I have had good luck whith race eng. up to 12.9 comp.
