To Polarize the field windings of a Lucas generator, remove both 'D' and 'F'
wires from the generator. Using a jumper wire, clip one end to a battery feed
and touch the 'F' terminal with the other end of the jumper wire hold it on
for two seconds, you have now polorized the field windings.
