YES, Mike you can remove the trans, w/o removing the engine at least on a '70 B/GT without overdrive..... all you do is remove the gear lever extension(remote housing) from the top of the gearbox ,turn the transmission 90 degrees, and slide it back towards the rear of the car. will reply later and tell you about the fun i had trying to put it back in with the wrong splines on the clutch disk( a remanufactured unit) Love N Stuff, HoYo |
