Hi James, I had the same problem with my '66 B when I was a student at NAU. I just learned to live with it. That said, the DPO of my '60 Bugeye installed a vent in the fuel filler tube about 6" below the top. of and routed the overflow via a rubber tube carries the overflowing fuel through a hole in the boot floor. It's not original, but it works! :) Mark |
