Calipers

Hi all,

I've been tearing apart the brakes on my 71 BGT and bought new pistons and
seals for the front calipers.  I've cleaned thoroughly inside and out
around the cylinders but have a question:

The cylinder walls have some solidified gunk (brownish black in color) and
a few light scoring marks.  Is it okay for them to be this way when I put
the new pistons in or should I trash the calipers and buy new ones?
