Subject: Shock (damper) arm
I am in need of the arm that goes from the left front shock (damper) to
the top of the suspension. It's for a 1964 Sprite which became involved
in a "fender bender" on a snowy interstate :< The arm suffered - and as
a result the left front tire angles in several degrees. Inspection looks
like the shock itself is OK as well as the rest of the suspension.
I can not find just this arm for sale in any of the catalogs that I have
(must buy it with a shock for $$$$). I would think that if anyone has
replaced shocks, they might have the old shock around. Can't see this
massive arm getting hurt in normal circumstances.
