 Help! The guages function but the lights do not.

        On '68 and '69 MGB's (and others most likely) the dash lights have a
separate lighting switch.  It's a small sliding switch on the left side of
the steering column.  If you have a later model, you should also try the
small round knob that controls the dash lights brightness.  On the '76 this
is (if I recall correctly) on the left side of the dash near the bottom.
