The first MGB GT was made in 1965 (the RHD in Sept. and the LHD in Nov.) By the way I know a guy who has a 1974 1/2 MGB GT sitting around waiting to become parts. This car is definetly a project (very rusty) and it has 70000 miles. And Yes they did make a LHD 74 1/2 MGB GT to American spec, it even has a rubber bumper(just incase you didn't believe me).
