Waving at Other MG's

     Last Friday I drove to work in my 1970 MGB on a gorgeous sunny day.  
     An equally gorgeous TD drove by in the opposite direction, and I waved 
     enthusiastically at the driver.
     
     No response.
     
     This makes three MG's in a row that haven't waved back.  I remember 
     getting honks and light flashes even in heavy traffic back in the 
     early eighties.  Do you other drivers acknowledge each other on the 
     road?
