I just finished a frame up on a 56. Two immediate suggestions: 1. Bead blast the entire car before you start. This removes all paint, = surface rust and grime and gives you a nice clean surface which shows = the flaws. 2. Don't remove the doors. Patch around them, put in the new sills, = etc., but don't remove the hardware and the doors, as that it one of the = most difficult alignments to do. |
