LBC *pieces* in movies

So I'm watching Ferris Beuller's Day Off on Comedy Central right now.

The Ferrari in the flick has to be a replica.  Shots of the rear end of
it look awfully familiar to me, and probably would to any other MGB owner.
I'll *swear* they took the trunk lid and taillights from an MGB and glued
them on that car.

And the speedometer looks remarkably similar to one from a TR4.

No real comment here.  Just observing.
