I moved my '69 MGB body shell in a borrowed pickup.  I just slid the shell in
the back of the pickup and let the rear wheel wells sit on the tail gate.  I
do remember not having the $100.00 dollars in cash though.  Lucky for me I
was able to find an ATM 150 miled from home.  You might try renting a pickup
or if you can find a decent deal on an used truck near the shell and buy it
to carry the shell home then sell it and recope your money.
