Mike,
A simpler (cheaper) option you might want to check is the tightness
of the nuts on the rear spring hangers. When I first got my '78B the nuts
were very loose which allows the axle to "twist" relative to the body -
most noticeable when changing gear. Like I say it more of a twist than
a vibration but you never know !
