Bruce, I question the accuracy of the wheel size quoted for the RX-7.
I once owned an '81 (the original body style) and 13" was the size
wheel used by the factory. However, I have seen 14" aftermarket wheels,
and VERY low profile tires placed on the cars.
I also own an '85 Celica, which does take 14"ers, and have seen people
place 13" wheels & tires on these cars. Reason being, 13" tires are
cheaper to buy. ?????? To each his own.

Here's some more wheel information. A recent ad in Grassroots Motorsports for
wheels only listed the following cars with the same 4 lug bolt circle
(114.3), wheel size (14X6), and offset (26P) as the MGB;
-Early Mazda RX-7
-Datsun Roadster
-Rear wheel drive Celica
-Volvo P1800
240Z is listed as having a different offset (12P).
