OK I looked up Alvis in a book "Post War British Thoroughbreds" by Bruce Hudson
1972.
Under Alvis they show the TB 14 and the TC21. I wish I could transmit the TB
picture to everyone . It must have been the inspiration for Hans Christian
Anderson's famous tale, but it didn't grow up to be a swan.
It has a huge "pear shape "modern grille and MGTF type headlights and 68bhp. It
was a two seater but hasn't one decent line.
The TA21, TB21 & TC21 is another story. It is a handsome drophead with a
traditional grill and some were coach built by Mulliner. It had a six cyl. and
could do 100mph.
The book mentioned covers lots of great obscure British cars. One has got to
see
a 1950 Austin A90 Atlanic before one can say they have seen it all.
