I had severe whining in my rear axle. The chap who fixed it charged
an arm and a leg saying the bearings were damaged. One he said had
been hammered in. I have now examined the offending bearing but it
is a normal bearing - not tapered, has 1 1/4" ID and 3" OD - bears
RHP MJ 1 1/4. I cannot see where it could fit !!!! Can anyone tell
me if such a bearing is anywhere near the rear axle!
