MG brought us the talking dash in the 80s to warn of problems within the
car, now technicians in Australia are working on a system to detect hazards
outside the car, warn of them, and if ignored to tell you off. (A prototype
has half the windscreen obscured by dangling equipment and wires, but that
is another issue). Thing is, I have had one of these since before MGs
offering and much more advanced than the new one - the Wireless Information
Feedback Equipment.
