Thanks for all of the information.  I was asking because I just bought 
an aluminum 8.8 IRS housing from an Explorer on e-bay, as a foundation 
for a MGB IRS future-project.  I wasn't sure what parts would work with 
it.  Now I just need to get the half-shafts and uprights from a Mustang 
Cobra.
