Quicktime Player

I have a couple of 'movies' of MGBs whirling around.. It always used 
Windows Media Player but someone suggested that QuickTime would be 
better.  So I downloaded it - It did not suit and I "de-installed"  but now 
every time I enter Netscape the damn Quicktime thing tries to take 
over.  Does anyone know how to switch Netscape to Windows Media Player??
