SD1 Gearbox

A kind lister did tell me where to find the fill hole for the 5 speed SD1 
gearbox.  But my gropings have found no suitable hole.  Can someone tell me 
where exactly is this mysterious orifice - picture would be 
perfect.  Gearbox oil recommendations?
