First, thanks to all the folk who have answered my earlier questions.
I've been searching for aftermarket rims for my 77 MGB (that I plan to
lower by an inch), but most of the online stores either force you to
look through all the wheels individualy, or select a model and year of
car, at which point they list all the rims that fit your car and it's
bolt pattern. Of course, none of them list MG as a model of car, so I
was wondering if anyone could suggest a late-model (post 1990)
automobile that would have the same lug-pattern and clearance
restrictions for the MGB. I've found several 4-lug 15"x 6.5" or 15"x7"
rims, but most places I've looked at say that the MGB can't handle 15"
rims any wider than 6" (or 5.5"). Can someone confirm or deny that?
Second, if I convert to a rear-end with a 5-lug pattern, can anyone
suggest a way to get MGC front hubs or some other method to convert the
front to a 5-bolt pattern?
