First, you have to get through the anodizing to the aluminum. I agree with
polishing out an aluminum frame. I did this years ago on a Mk I Midget, & it
looked awesome. Once buffed out on a wheel, it was easy to maintain.

Would it be possible (feasible) to polish the alum out?  I seem to remember
some roadsters of old, with lots of chrome.  If the polishing is done
properly it can give the same appearance as chrome and would really "set the
car off", especially a chrome bumper car, where a gloss black(or body color)
would likely fit better with a rubber bumper car.

Can anyone tell me what product(s) to use to get a high polish finish on the
frame?  Would Simichrome do it, seems like that would take forever..
