Sorry to be flip the first time, just too good of a straight line, although the
answer from Santa was correct.

There is only one way to tell if you have made enough room, & that is to refit 
the
engine & tranny. All installations & bodies are slightly different,. so a
measurement from another car will not be a guarantee of success.

In & out 3 times is about average.
