I,m going to look at and potientaly buy a complete running ,driving manual transmission skylark for the engine, bellhousing, flywheel, etc for my conversion. What kinds of tests can i do to determine the condition of the engine.Should i let idle for x amount of time to see if it overheats, check compression what should it be?Anything i can do to assure it's good would be helpful. The owner said it doesn't use oil or smoke but he only took it on trade a couple of months ago and hasn't been driving it? Thanks Greg |
