In Colorado a vehicle 1974 or earlier does not have a visual
inspection. It needs only to pass a "sniff" test. I have considered
"lumping" my 1987 Jaguar which of course requires a visual inspection.
Prior to researching the best way to proceed I phoned the state
inspection station and talked to the State of Colorado referee.
What-da-ya-know he is a hot rod guy who drives a Corvette powered
Jaguar.
