Last week I called a guy in Montana who is selling an MGB V8, he had done
the conversion himself (Olds>T5>9" Ford). During our conversation he
mentioned that he had used a portion of a Ford Pinto steering shaft. If
I got this clear, a portion of the Pinto steering shaft is flexible. By
using this shaft he was able to attach the MG steering rack to the MG
steering shaft with a minimum of u-joints.
Anyone ever heard of this?
Anyone out there near Missoula Montana that could take a look at this
car?
