A few weeks ago I told the list how my 53TD died and the engine would
not turn over. After getting home from a long trip I finally got the oil pan
and head off. The crank and pistons will not move at all. They are frozen in
place. Up on the lift we used a neat tool that uses the teeth in the
flywheel to turn the engine over. No matter what we did the pistons would not
move. What gets me is there was no warning. I left the gas station with
about
80 lbs of oil pressure and somehow the oil must have ceased to flow. No nasty
noises or anything. Engines available?
