If the piston connecting rods are disconnect from the crankshaft on a
MGTD (MkII), is it possible to push the piston up far enough to inspect
the rings? I have the head off the XPAG and would like to inspect the
rings without pulling the piston out the bottom. I cannot find a
true-to-scale cross sectional drawing that would provide the answer and,
of course, I really don't want to remove the sump just to find out if
the above is possible.
