Help? No it only confuses. From all of the pictures in the shop manual
(admittedly they're probably all of PAs) there is no micro-adjuster shown.
So am I to assume there was or was not a micro-adjuster on PBs? Probably not
on Pas, but I'd like some more proof on the PB.

Confused in Minnesota.

Lew,

Good photo. The clamp you have labeled TA is the one I have seen on PBs,
including mine. I think that is correct. The micro-adjuster on TAs we have
in the shop (4) is identical to TBs (2) and TCs(4), as they have the spigot
bolt going in horizontally to lock into a groove on the dist shaft.

The P-type micro-adjuster bolts in through the top just like the clamp you
have labeled PA-PB.

So, the TA labeled clamp will not fit on TAs, only P-types.

We also have a PB with a non micro-adjuster dizzy at the shop but it's a PA
engine with an early distributor.

Does this help any??
