Subject: what is the maximum bore for J2

Greetings,

I've done a search of the mmm archives and at least with my searching
abilities did not find a discussion of how far a J2 block can be
bored safely, or what minimum cylinder wall thickness should be
maintained.
With ultrasound testing, the thickness of the cylinder walls can
be measured, but how much wall thickness is enough? Have any folks
on this list bored their J2 blocks out to 60 mm without problems?
Or with problems?

Thank you,

Bill Putnam
